Hong Kong airport marks Labour Day with second instant rebate promotion

HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport has launched a second round of a promotion which offers instant rebates of cash coupons worth up to HK$5,000.

The original promotion was launched earlier this month; the latest instalment is timed to mark celebrations of the upcoming Labour Day holiday.

From 28 April to 9 May, travellers who hold a valid same-day boarding pass and spend more than HK$20,000 by electronic payment can receive an instant rebate of HK$1,200 in the form of airport cash coupons. Those who spend over HK$50,000 can redeem HKIA cash coupon of HK$5,000.

Travellers who spend more than HK$1,000 in a single transaction at the airport are eligible for complimentary local delivery service. Free delivery to the Chinese Mainland, Macau and Taiwan is also offered to travellers who spend more than HK$2,500 on clothing, bags and accessories in a single transaction.

The airport said it would also collaborate with retailers during the promotion period to provide a series of shopping and dining offers, as well as a selection of special complimentary gifts.

The second round of the promotion runs from 28 April to 9 May
