HONG KONG, CHINA. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has today (26 March) launched a tender for retail and catering concessions at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
The contract covers six outlets strategically located in Terminal 2 Level 3 Coach Hall, scheduled to open in Q3/Q4 this year.
These include two general retail stores (88sq m and 84sq m); two grab-and-go light refreshment outlets (122sq m each); a coffee shop (125sq m); and a convenience store (158sq m).

With a direct connection to Terminal 1, the locations are expected to attract local and cross-boundary travellers and the airport community.
Announcing the tender, AAHK said: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. Through offering premium products and services, the authority strives to provide the best shopping experience for our passengers.”
Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this invitation by emailing the requested details to the Retail & Advertising Department at retail2@hkairport.com.
The submission should include the company name; company background (within one A4 page); the concession(s) of interest (general retail, grab & go light refreshment, coffee shop, or convenience store); and the contact person’s name, position, email address and phone number.
Submissions are due no later than 4pm on 3 April (Hong Kong time). ✈
