SPAIN. Idesa Parfums has signed an international licensing agreement with Spanish artist David Bisbal, to develop and market a fragrance line.
The first fragrance by the young musician will be launched by the end of the year. It will make its debut in the Spanish market, followed by an international roll-out in the Latin American region.
According to the company, David Bisbal is regarded as one of the most famous Latin singers, with a string of hits worldwide. In 2002, Bisbal launched his first album, Corazón Latino, and became Spain’s “˜newest’ music star of the year.
In 2003, he earned the award for Best New Artist at the fourth annual Latin Grammys. In Miami, he has received eight Gold Disks for the sales achieved with Corazón Latino in the US and Latin America.
