INTERNATIONAL. To add further lustre to its International Women’s Day celebrations this week, leading travel retailer Aer Rianta International (ARI) and parent company daa hosted an International Women’s Day Awards to honour the hard work and excellence of its female employees.
ARI Airport Retail Manager Ireland Ling Ling Sun won the ‘People Award’, which recognised her inspiring “one winning team” attitude and respect for the diversity of her co-workers. She was also acknowledged for her collaborative approach to ensure win-win outcomes across the business.
Commenting, Sun said: “This is an absolute honour. I would like to thank my colleagues who make my life in ARI interesting and enjoyable; your recognition means a lot to me and is truly appreciated. Let us continue to work closely as one winning team, play our part, and lead our people through change.”
As reported, ARI and The Moodie Davitt Report teamed up this week for a striking International Women’s Day website makeover.
ARI and The Moodie Davitt Report also launched an empowering social media campaign called ‘Women Rise’, which celebrates the diverse and inspiring women working at the Irish travel retail company (many of whom are depicted in the images on our home page).
The Moodie Davitt Report asked 75 women from ARI to talk about womanhood and compiled their responses in the film below.
The film and supporting social media campaign has reached over 56,000 people and 101,000 impressions on Instagram. LinkedIn also saw many of those 75 women, from all around the vast ARI global network, post their own contributions and stories, generating incredible feedback from the industry.
