AUSTRALIA. As demand for outbound air travel surges, Chinese airlines are ramping up flights to more destinations, including Australia – historically one of the most favoured destinations for Chinese travellers.

Today’s image from Sydney Airport shows the first Tianjin Airlines flight to return to the city after three years of pandemic-related border closures. The weekly Sydney flight represents the first international regular route resumed by the airline. Good news for Heinemann Australia and other Sydney Airport retail operations.

Sydney Airport said in a LinkedIn post: “It’s wonderful to see the increase in the number of flights in and out of China.” ✈
