TÜRKIYE/GERMANY. Today’s choice comes from luxury beauty house La Mer, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, which is celebrating its recent aeroplane-themed activations with Gebr. Heinemann in European travel retail.
The elegant pop-ups ran for a five-month period from January through May. They were located in Istanbul Airport F4 and Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1, delighting travellers with a selection of high-touch services and exclusive seasonal offerings.
The pop-ups were designed to emulate the inside of a private aircraft cabin, combining La Mer’s beauty rituals with the spirit of luxury travel.
Travellers were able to enjoy the complimentary ‘Skin by La Mer’ service, tailored to each visitors’ specific skincare and lifestyle needs. The pre-flight service was designed to refresh and rejuvenate the skin ahead of a long-haul journey.
In addition, the animations highlighted the brand’s hero product Crème de la Mer alongside travel retail-exclusive sets. These included the Arrive Hydrated Collection, which features La Mer’s best-selling products.
