AUSTRALIA. Our chosen images today come courtesy of South Australian family winery Taylors, which partnered with Lotte Duty Free at Melbourne Airport this week to farewell fans of Australia’s rugby team heading for the Rugby World Cup in France.

Third-generation Company Director and Global Key Accounts Manager Export Justin Taylor was at the Lotte Duty Free store to mark the big sporting competition by signing bottles of Taylors Wines and gifting Taylors & Wallabies merchandise.

The family winemaker has a long tradition of supporting rugby. Bill Taylor Snr, Founder of Taylors Wines, was a beneficiary of a rugby scholarship during his school and university days, instilling a love for the sport in the family. Taylors Wines said that with the support of travel retail partners like Lotte, it is “redefining the wine experience for rugby fans and all duty free customers”.

“It’s exciting to see more and more passengers returning to the airport, and Lotte Duty Free is well placed to enhance their journey with experiences, like this one with Taylors Wines, as travellers make their way to France for the World Cup,” said Lotte Duty Free Oceania CEO and Director Stephen Timms.

Justin Taylor commented: “It’s not just about the games. It’s about community, connection and the joy of competition. Australian sporting teams continue to impress fans across the globe, and if the Diamonds and Matildas are anything to go by, the Wallabies will be putting on a terrific show during this upcoming World Cup.” ✈
