Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

HONG KONG, CHINA. Today’s image selection comes from Beauty&You by The Shilla Duty Free, which is celebrating the upcoming Valentine’s Day with a hands-on experience for passengers at Hong Kong International Airport.

The ‘Petals of Love’ activation, running until 16 February, invites travellers to create their own bookmarks with vacuum-sealed dried flowers, offering a sentimental keepsake. The DIY workshop is located at Beauty&You’s East Lobby North and South stores.

The Shilla Duty Free noted on Instagram: “Remember to set aside time to make a bookmark before you get on the plane”

To participate, visitors need to follow Beauty&You’s social media account on Facebook, Instagram or WeChat. Additionally, those who like the store’s pinned post will receive a HK$50 (US$6.42) cash voucher to use in-store.

This campaign encourages passengers to visit the Beauty&You store, boosting foot traffic and brand awareness. The social media participation promotes online engagement, while the cash voucher offers an added incentive for shoppers. ✈
