UK. Imperial Tobacco is to focus on its mainstream UK brand Lambert & Butler King Size at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in April (Booth 2609).

Lambert & Butler King Size is the UK’s biggest-selling cigarette brand, accounting for over 13% of total cigarette sales. Lambert & Butler is positioned as a low-priced, popular cigarette, which still offers the quality and values associated with more premium brands. The brand dominates the low-price sector in the UK with nearly 75% share, and almost 59% of its consumers are under 34.

In the US, Imperial Tobacco recently installed Lambert & Butler personalised furniture at the Alpha Retail-operated Orlando Sanford Airport outlet. Brands showcased include Lambert & Butler, Superkings and Golden Virginia.

Targeting British tourists visiting the US, the Lambert & Butler furniture is expected to sustain the encouraging growth of Imperial’s brands in the Americas for 2005, according to the company.
