CANADA. The Canadian duty free industry is mourning the death of Roxanne Pigeon, who was Export Sales Manager of Pillitteri Estates Winery, based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. She died in a motor accident on 7 July.
Pillitteri Estates Winery Sales Manager & Estate Sommelier Marcel Morgenstern said: “Roxanne’s passion for life was contagious and her generosity of spirit will be her legacy. Roxanne was the best Wine Export Manager and a breeder/exhibitor of champion Pekingese dogs under the Romiche KuDeTa kennel names. She was the loving life companion of Charlie Pillitteri. She will be dearly missed by the Pillitteri, Slingerland and Friesen families and many friends and relatives.
“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).”
