TripClip – the innovative clip which allows travelling users to attach mobile devices to the seat in front of them to offer eye-level viewing – is looking to increase its footprint in travel retail.
As reported, TripClip has teamed up with Nuwave Channel Partners for manufacturing and distribution in the channel. The travel accessory launched exclusively with Ryanair in October 2020.
Made from recycled plastic, TripClip is the brainchild of former professional chef Joe Shortt and offers a solution to ‘tech neck’ problems.
“The idea for TripClip was born mid-flight when I wondered why my phone/tablet couldn’t attach to the seat in front of me to watch content hand free at eye level, instead of trying to hold the device or rest it against something,” Shortt said.
“I set out to create a device and a range of detachable clip heads that can be used on all forms of private and public transport.
“I really believe that this product meets a criteria for device users everywhere, providing people with a compact cutting edge travel accessory. My vision is that TripClip will redefine the travel experience for travellers and commuters and those who use their device extensively at home.”
Shortt will present his TripClip Pro, which includes interchangeable clips, on the Nuwave stand at the upcoming TFWA world Exhibition in Cannes (Blue Village F16).
