The new Inside & Out boutique at Edinburgh Airport will offer a range of health and beauty treatmentsUK. Travellers at Edinburgh Airport can avail of a new service with the opening of an Inside & Out health and beauty salon in the heart of the terminal.
The Inside & Out salon will officially open on 22 November at Edinburgh Airport’s recently completed £40million departure lounge.
The new airside unit will offer a range of health and beauty treatments, ranging from massage to skin rejuvenation, waxing, manicure, male grooming, dietary advice and holistic therapy.
The family-run company opened its first salon in Edinburgh’s Haymarket district in 2006, initially employing six staff. Now, with the opening of the new airport unit, job numbers are set to rise to 12 and there are plans to target other UK airportsin the future.
Owner Lian McAdam said: “We are absolutely delighted to be opening a new health and beauty salon at Edinburgh Airport, which is unlike any other in the UK. We are determined to put the glamour back into air travel. Whether you’re travelling to a wedding, going on the holiday of a lifetime or just in need of some pampering at the end of a busy day, we can make every flight that little bit special.”
Edinburgh Airport Managing Director Kevin Brown added: “Edinburgh Airport’s new departure lounge is a place where passengers can relax in light, bright and modern surroundings before their onwards journey. This new health and beauty salon is a fantastic addition which I’m sure will prove extremely popular with those passengers wishing a little extra relaxation and pampering.”
The new salon is open to the travelling public Monday to Friday, 07.00 to 20.00, from 08.00 to 18.00 on Saturday, and from 07.00 to 20.00 on Sunday.
The new unit offers group and corporate bookings, tailored wedding packages and is located in the main departure lounge post-security.
