Inter Parfums unveiled the debut feminine fragrance from footwear brand Nine West, called Love Fury, in New York City last month. The launch was attended by Nine West Creative Director Fred Allard, a wide selection of beauty press, and guests from Inter Parfums, Firmenich and Macy’s.

The Love Fury launch venue was 620 Loft & Garden. A large-scale image of the fragrance bottle was projected onto one wall; the ad campaign was also on display. An additional podium featured an iPad and headset, allowing guests to experience the Love Fury video. A fragrance wall of Love Fury shoe boxes and fragrance bottles illuminated by hidden LED lights completed the presentation.
The fragrance – the first from the brand, which to date has also diversified into handbags, sunglasses, hosiery and watches – will be launched in the US in February 2012, in exclusivity with Macy’s. The international roll-out is scheduled for May 2012.
The juice was composed in partnership with Firmenich, and features notes of mimosa, mandarin, sandalwood, orris and amber.
In line with the brand’s shoe heritage, the square glass flacon incorporates a stiletto-style “heel” stopper, which runs through the centre. In Nine West Boutiques, the fragrance launch will be complemented by a specially designed Love Fury pump shoe.
The Nine West Love Fury fragrance collection comprises a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edp, plus a roller ball version (US only) and a body lotion.
