International Shoppes adds brand boutiques at Boston Logan Airport

USA. International Shoppes has added three new brand boutiques to its retail line-up at Boston Logan Airport’s Terminal E. The stores are part of a major investment drive across the retailer’s US airport network, as revealed earlier this year.

An 857sq ft standalone Michael Kors shop – selling classic fashion, handbags, shoes jewellery and accessories – has opened in new space. And skincare brand Kiehl’s and luxury pens and accessories supplier Montblanc have in-store boutiques in a new, 1,620sq ft duty free location.

The retail programme at Boston Logan Terminal E is managed by Airmall USA. Michael Caro, Airmall Boston Vice President, commented: “We are pleased to see the duty-free programme continue to grow and succeed with the addition of a second International Shoppes unit on Terminal E.

These new units further exemplify our commitment to providing travellers with a robust duty-free programme and a variety of shopping options at the airport.”

Speaking to The Moodie Report about the project earlier this year, International Shoppes Director Matthew Greenbaum said: “These are exciting developments. It will be our first collaboration on a store with Michael Kors, as well as our first Kiehl’s outlet. These partnerships will help upgrade the retail environment.”

International Shoppes became the duty-free operator at Boston in January 2012 and last spring opened two units in terminals B and E.
