IOMA skincare makes travel retail debut with Nuance in Geneva

Skincare brand IOMA has made its travel retail debut with The Nuance Group at Geneva International Airport. The brand’s products were made available from 3 November and will be available exclusively through Nuance for a year.

The brand has brought a team of beauty coaches to Geneva to perform its IOMA Sphere 2 diagnostics and formulate personalized Ma Crème treatments using the IOMA Factory.

The IOMA Factory will run at the airport until the end of December. Meanwhile IOMA products will be sold from a dedicated counter when Nuance’s new luxury beauty store opens at Geneva on 1 December.

IOMA said that it had chosen Geneva as a launch location thanks to its international hub status, with more than 50 airlines (including 20 from beyond Europe) operating at the airport.

IOMA Founder and CEO Jean Michel Karam said: “In four years we have successfully developed a strong retail experience as IOMA is distributed in all premium channels. Travel retail is a natural continuation. Nuance is the ideal partner both for the attention they bring to brand staging and for their indisputable expertise in the premium universe.”

Nuance Switzerland General Manager Karl Walter added: “At Nuance we are continuously seeking to improve the retail experience with innovative new products, and this partnership demonstrates our commitment to upgrading the shopping experience with cutting-edge solutions.

Geneva Airport Retail Manager Christelle Bequilleux said: “We are delighted that IOMA chose Geneva to launch its innovative products in the travel retail market. This concept is perfectly in line with our efforts to bring an exclusive offer to our passengers.”
