VIETNAM. IPP Travel Retail has partnered with The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) to open a multi-brand boutique in the Domestic Terminal at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport.
As reported, the 120sq m boutique offers the beauty house’s key brands, including Estée Lauder, Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Origins and Lab Series. The boutique is ELC’s first duty-paid store at the airport and is the result of nearly two years of negotiations between ELC and IPP Travel Retail.
According to IPP Travel Retail CEO Phillip Nguyen, the airport’s Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City route is the third-busiest domestic route in the world.
In a LinkedIn post, Nguyen said: “We have been upgrading our store concepts to match the growing demand from passengers. We have completed the store opening of The Estée Lauder Companies with eight brands and we are working to launch two other revamped concepts in the same terminal.”
The two concepts are multi-brand confectionery store Cocoa Tree and Singaporean food brand IRVINS, both launching refreshed shops at the terminal.
“After these stores, we have three other shops that will be upgrading with stronger category offerings,” Nguyen added.
The IPP Travel Retail division leads the extensive Vietnam duty-free, travel retail and airport advertising business within the wider Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) portfolio. IPP Travel Retail has established a chain of retail outlets at five key airports in Vietnam, including both international and domestic terminals.
