ISG and partner add Rossiya and DonAvia to European airline network

RUSSIA. Inflight Sales Group (ISG) has struck an agreement with Russian partner Aeromar CJSC to offer duty free retail programmes onboard Aeroflot subsidiaries Rossiya and DonAvia with effect from 1 February. As we reported, ISG and Aeromar took over the Aeroflot concession from April last year.

The agreement further builds on 2014’s expansion for ISG, following tender successes in Japan, France, Singapore and Malaysia in the last six months.

ISG Director Europe Karen Durban said: “ISG is extremely pleased about working with Rossiya and DonAvia. This is a great opportunity to consolidate our partnership locally with Aeromar’s catering unit and to further develop our portfolio in Eastern Europe.”

ISG Managing Director Tony Detter added: “We really believe in the potential of the Russian and Eastern European markets. ISG has a history of investing in upcoming markets ahead of our competitors and we look forward to working with our partners at Aeromar and the Rossiya and DonAvia teams.”

Based in St Petersburg, Rossiya serves more than 4 million passengers annually, and will offer inflight sales on around 35 flights per day.

Based in Sochi and Rostov, DonAvia (like Rossoya, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflot JSC) operates five Russian domestic and 11 international routes, serving more than one million passengers a year.
