UK. Travel Retail Training, organiser of the Inflight Salesperson of the Year Awards (ISPY), has received the first entry in a special photo competition that is running alongside its Guinness world record initiative.
As reported, the ISPY bear is going on a global voyage in an attempt to beat the current Guinness world record for Most Travelled Toy Mascot.
The bear’s stay at each destination will be commemorated with narratives and photos posted on the ISPY2010 World Tour website and travel log.
The momentous first photo was submitted by Jane Nuttal of Virgin Atlantic Airways, who won the ISPY Award for Scheduled Airlines in 2005.
In her picture, she poses with the ISPY bear and The Virgin Group founder Richard Branson.
“It looks like the initiative has caught everyone’s attention and crew are signing up in droves,” said ISPY/Travel Retail Training Managing Director Christine Martin.
