BELGIUM. J. Cortès Cigars cast the spotlight firmly on its new, stylishly packaged aromatic cigars during the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore last month.
Following the success of the Neos Feelings Mango and Vanilla filter cigarillos in the Asian market, the company has developed the Feelings Cherry line extension. Neos Feelings is described as a unique blend of Burley and Virginia tobaccos with a Besuki wrapper from Java.
Also new in the Neos Selection range of fine aromatic cigars is a Chocolate flavoured version, joining the existing Cappuccino line. The warm colours of Neos Selection’s packaging is expected to attract new consumers, according to J. Cortès Cigars Export Manager Emmanuel Ghesquière, who joined the Belgian supplier in December 2007.
For the expanding gift market, the company offers a glossy black metal Selection 3 étoiles tin containing 50 cigars (85mm in length) and a silver travel case containing a High Class cigar tube, a pack of 20 J. Cortès Mini cigars, a J. Cortès Club pack of 5 and a lighter.
J. Cortès also presented its Neos Tipi cigar brand, which is now available in vanilla, cherry and non-flavoured versions in packs of 5 and 50.
