Jelly Belly introduces space-saving fixture for travel retailers

Jelly Belly Candy Company has introduced new display options for travel retailers that enable operators to create a confectionery shop-in-shop.

The space-saving modular display unit was developed to maximise the Jelly Belly range. In addition, multiple units can be grouped together to create an even greater impact on sales, according to the US confectionery firm.

The unit, 42.2cm wide by 33cm deep, has an adjustable height up to 180.3cm. The small footprint means it can be placed anywhere, whether the store is located in a terminal, train station or port.

The compact display can also take on different looks depending on a retailer’s merchandising needs. Kits are available to mix and match pegs, shelves and gravity bins in any combination to showcase the Jelly Belly range of packs and gifts. A space for extra storage is available in the base cabinet.

Retailers can provide visual drama by creating a “candy centre”, said Jelly Belly, by displaying two modular units back-to-back, or by grouping three or four side-by-side or in a square formation.

Entire units can be filled with one type of Jelly Belly candy, or an array of candy for a colourful display. The unit can display pouch bags of Jelly Belly gourmet jelly beans and other items in a variety of price points, including the newly-launched Jelly Bean Chocolate Dips.

The modular display units are shipping now.
