USA. Jersey Mike’s Subs is hoping to raise a record-breaking amount for charity this month through its 15th annual Month of Giving.
To celebrate the company’s initiative, Jersey Mike’s locations across the USA are joining forces with more than 200 local charities, including hospitals, youth organisations and food banks. Throughout March customers will have the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate US$1, US$3, or US$5 when placing their order.
The campaign culminates in a nationwide ‘Day of Giving’ on 26 March when Jersey Mike’s owners and operators will donate 100% of sales to local charities.

At the first nationwide fundraiser in 2011, Jersey Mike’s 454 locations raised US$600,000 for 66 charities. Since then, the company’s annual Month of Giving has raised more than US$113 million for hundreds of local causes and hopes to exceed last year’s record-breaking national fundraising total of US$25 million.
Jersey Mike’s Founder and CEO Peter Cancro said: “I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout March, and especially on the Day of Giving when 100% of sales goes to help a great local cause.”
