US. Fragrance brand Jivago introduced its portfolio of fragrances at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore in May.
Connect, a fragrance in blue packaging available for men and women, headlined a showcase of fragrances which also included 24K, 7 Notes for Women, 7 Elements for Men and Millenium Hope.
Based in Beverly Hills, California, Jivago was founded by Ilana Jivago in 1994. Spirituality and enlightenment is the philosophy that underlines the company’s mission and is the inspiration behind the products.
Fragrance samples are provided only on natural materials such as feathers, as they are said to be the closest material that emulates the skin.

Key lines:
24K: A tribute to the founder’s mother, the floral scent comes in a two-piece handcrafted flacon which symbolises the unity of the physical and the spiritual, according to Jivago. The juice contains 24ct gold leaves which is said to impart positive energy. Jivago was the first company to introduce 24ct gold into a fragrance, and it earned the firm a FiFi Award nomination in 1996 for innovation. The company had the use of gold in the fragrance line patented in 1997.
The men’s fragrance was developed by Ilana Jivago and her brother Joseph. The line also includes lotion, body cream, cream bath, bath beads, candles and aftershave balm.
The line comprises 24K for women (edp and edt in 50ml and 75ml), 24K edt for men (50ml), aftershave (100ml), Golden Feel After Shave Balm 125ml and Golden Kiss Shower Gel 200ml. Also offered is a 24K Men Set comprising a 100ml edt and a 50ml aftershave, and a Smart Stylo Perfume Pen (1.6ml).
7 Notes for Women and 7 Elements for Men: Launched in 1997. CDs containing music scores were given away as gwps, with 10% of the profits going towards young musicians at school who couldn’t afford musical instruments.
7 Notes is available in edp and edt in both 100ml and 50ml. Also available are 6.7oz body lotion and shower gel.
7 Elements for Men earned the company a FiFi nomination for packaging design. 7 Elements is available in edt (75ml), aftershave balm (125ml) and shower gel (200ml).
Millenium Hope: “The scent for the next 1,000 years” was launched in 2000, contained in a multi-faceted glass sphere which is said to represent unity and wholeness. The pink and blue colours represent new beginnings, according to Jivago. In 2000, the spherical shape of the flacon earned Jivago a FiFi award nomination. Millenium Hope for Men was nominated for the best men’s fragrance category, also in that year. The men’s and women’s edp and edt are available in 125ml.
Connect: Available for men and women. Blue in colour, the flacon retains the signature shape of 24K, but is slightly improvised for the edp. Connect for women is available in 75ml edp, and in 50ml and 75ml edt. The men’s edition is available in 75ml edt.
