ASIA PACIFIC. Chanel Director Asia Pacific Travel Retail Fabrice Hochet has been named as a board member of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA), representing the beauty category.
It follows the retirement of Jonathan Holland, Founder of Jonathan Holland & Associates, who also steps down from his role at APTRA.
APTRA President Sunil Tuli said: “We will miss the involvement of Jonathan Holland & Associates, in particular the personal contribution made by Jonathan Holland over the past eight years.
“Jonathan’s knowledge of the beauty category in Asia Pacific is truly exceptional and he has been a stellar board member, giving generously of his time, insights and unbounded enthusiasm in nurturing the industry. We thank Jonathan for everything he has done and wish him every happiness in his retirement.”
Holland added: “APTRA has certainly come a long way since it was set up 15 years ago and today it is a significant entity within the Asia Pacific travel retail territory. I am proud and honoured to have served on the Board for the past eight years and wish everyone involved a wonderful future in taking the association to the next level.”
After a long and successful career in the channel, the popular, much-respected and quintessential Englishman – known affectionately to many as ‘Chaps’ – retired on 30 September.
