AUSTRALIA. JR/Duty Free has opened its latest JR/Watch Co luxury boutique at Perth Airport’s International Terminal 1, alongside the redesigned JR/Duty Free store in the Departures lounge.
Catering to customers seeking state-of-the-art time pieces, the store showcases a number of the world’s most prestigious watch brands including Omega, Girard-Perregaux, Breitling, Chopard and Longines.

JR/Duty Free CEO Milton Lasnitzki said; “Our team has put tremendous effort into creating an indulgent shopping experience for Perth Airport customers. The fixtures and fittings create a luxurious environment and knowledgeable staff are on hand to assist customers in selecting their perfect timepiece.”
The opening of the JR/Watch Co boutique builds on the improved JR/Duty Free offering at Perth Airport. Earlier this year, the T1 departures JR/Duty Free store was refitted and its retail range includes high-end goods such as luxury handbags, Western Australian pearls, cosmetics, perfume and an exceptional range of wines and liquor.
“We have worked closely with the James Richardson Group since 2013 to deliver innovative and contemporary stores, and it’s exciting that our passengers can now experience world-class airport retail,” added Norris.
The Terminal 1 JR/Duty Free landside Departures store is currently under construction and will open in the near future. International passengers will be able to browse through products with family and friends who are not travelling, and the store will provide an opportunity for non-travellers, including airport staff, to buy selected duty-paid products.
As with all products bought at JR/Duty Free prior to departure, passengers can choose between taking their purchase with them when they travel or picking it up on arrival into Perth from the JR/Duty Free Arrivals store located before inbound Immigration and baggage reclaim.
