Kansai Airports unveils Issey Miyake branded boutique; Clé de Peau Beauté to open in May

JAPAN. Kansai Airports Retail & Services this week opened an airside boutique in Terminal 1 dedicated to Japanese fashion brand Issey Miyake. The airport company’s retail arm also revealed plans for a Clé de Peau Beauté boutique, which will open on 16 May. Both stores are located in the T1 KIX Airside Avenue.

The Issey Miyake store features Pleats Please Issey Miyake and Bao Bao Issey Miyake ranges. Pleats Please Issey Miyake clothing is made with a special garment-pleating technique where pleats are added after sewing the clothes into shape. The clothes are light and wrinkle-proof, don’t need to be dry-cleaned and can be folded to a compact size for easy storage and carrying, said the airport company.

Bao Bao Issey Miyake is a versatile bag collection created using triangular pieces, which change flat surfaces into three-dimensional ones. The shop also offers travel essentials and souvenirs.

Shiseido Group-owned Clé de Peau Beauté will house a full line-up of products along with airport-exclusive skincare sets in its store from May.
