RUSSIA. Kapo Duty Free has opened a new fashion and accessory shop in Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport. The 170sq m store is described as the first of its kind in Russia outside Moscow, and highlights the scale and pace of Russia’s regional development.

The airport, which expects to handle around one million international passengers this year, is the gateway to the Urals region of Russia. Ekaterinburg is Russia’s third-largest city.

Kapo, awarded the duty free concession at the location’s new International Terminal in 2009, works closely with German travel retailer and distributor Gebr Heinemann.
