RUSSIA. Russian retailer Kazan Duty Free has added another airport location to its portfolio after opening a new duty free outlet at Tomsk Bogashevo Airport.
Kazan Duty Free, which is partnered by Gebr Heinemann, won the tender for the new store last year.
As reported, the retailer captured a ten-year contract for duty free and duty paid retailing at Kazan Airport in September 2012. It has also secured the retail concession at Irkutsk Airport.
Tomsk Airport offers flights to several Russian destinations as well as international airports in Astana, Istanbul, Larnaca, Burgas, Bangkok and Heraklion.
