Kering Eyewear has acquired Italian manufacturer Lenti, expanding its industrial and in-house capabilities for lens development.
Lenti, which has been part of the Safilo Group since 1996, specialises in moulding and surface treatments for a wide range of applications.
These include sun lenses for eyewear, visors and protective components used in lighting, automotive and motorcycle industries. The company employs around 100 people at its Bergamo headquarters.
By incorporating Lenti’s technical expertise and production know-how, Kering Eyewear aims to enhance its in-house production capabilities for the development of ‘Made in Italy’ sun lenses that offer performance, innovation and quality.
