Kering Eyewear marks Chinese New Year with limited-edition Gucci sunglasses release

Kering Eyewear has introduced exclusive Gucci sunglasses to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The limited-edition style is available across Asia Pacific travel retail, with high-profile activations in Hainan. 

The sunglasses feature a distinctive silhouette with red lenses and a soft cat-eye shape.

The frames take inspiration from ’90s aesthetics and are adorned with a red enamel cut-out interlocking G logo on the hinge. 

The launch is supported by a campaign featuring Gucci’s global brand ambassador, Chinese actress Ni Ni.

For the visuals, creative director Sabato De Sarno combined signature Gucci elements with a contemporary approach. ✈
