BELGIUM. Belgian accessories brand Kipling has renewed its Basic and IF collections with the latest fashion colours for Autumn 2007.
For business trips, Kipling offers the Seattle trolley on four multidirectional wheels which lets travellers slip through any obstacle at airports, the company said.
Other new Basic collection models include the sporty Kipling Arkan bag, described as discreet yet stylish in a grey colour with a soft organic feel. The model comes in various sizes and colours and is designed for the gym, office or weekend.
The new Presto waist bag with adjustable strap boasts a main compartment, a zipped front pocket and two small Velcro pockets.
New IF collection bags
In the updated IF collection, the “sexy and practical” Glory tote bag is available, while the distinctive Lucky Leopard print underlines the wearer’s sense of fashion, according to Kipling. The Lucky Leopard look can be completed with a beauty purse, a wallet, a holder for an iPod Nano or iPod Video.
For those with an outgoing personality, the Grapevine shoulder bag sports a Fire Work print.
Aimed at young urban chic women, the Parma and Jazz shoulder bag models – dubbed “must haves of the season” – are spacious and have a Dancing Flame print.
The Kipling Glory L in Funky Stripes is a rounded bag with adjustable shoulder strap, “ideal for a 24-hour escapade”, according to the company.
Kipling’s bags are designed to be easily mixed and matched in seasonal colours with new accessories that have specials prints. For example, the Lucky Leopard print matches the Tag Grey colour, Lipstick Red connects with Fire Work, while Dancing Flame works with Duck Blue.
