KLIA travellers find meaning in make-up at Parfums Christian Dior pop-up store

Parfums Christian Dior is taking travellers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport backstage with its first pop-up store in a Southeast Asian airport.

The brand has partnered with Malaysia Airports and retailer Colours & Fragrances Malaysia for the Dior Backstage pop-up, which opened on 15 July and is located in the KLIA Satellite Building. It is devoted to Dior make-up and features a “luxurious and graphic” décor of black lacquer in an attempt to capture the spirit of the brand.

The partners said their aim was to offer travellers a “unique and memorable” experience.

The Dior Backstage make-up line was designed by Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup, and is on sale at the pop-up store.

Dior pro team artist Junior Cedeño (pictured below), from Spain, will be at the pop-up to share professional and personalised tips on 29 July. He has worked with international fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Cosmopolitan.
