As previously reported, Koto Parfums has joined forces with French children’s gift/plush company Trousselier, to create a new Ange Lapin fragrance collection. It will be showcased at next month’s TFWA Tax Free World Exhibition in Cannes (Yellow Village: stand B16).
Ange Lapin (a half-rabbit, half-angel character) is well known and already stars in an extensive product collection that includes jewellery boxes, music boxes, toys, nightlights and accessories.

“The collaboration with La Maison Trousselier was obvious,” noted Koto Parfums General Manager Nathalie Gourbeyre. “This institution is similar to ours through its size, is known for its know-how, its creativity and its entrepreneurial spirit.”
The alcohol-free Ange Lapin Eau de Senteur line is targeted at female and male children aged 0-36 months. The juice combines almond tree blossom, grenadine, jasmine, buttercup, sandalwood and sweet musk.
The fragrance is presented in a square bottle, accented with silver. The signature Ange Lapin wings adorn the front. The outer carton is coloured pastel blue and orange, and also features the wing motif.
Ange Lapin Eau de Senteur is available as a 50ml and 100ml. Koto Parfums has created two sets: a Birth Set, comprising a 100ml and an Ange Lapin soft toy, and Travel Buddy (a travel retail exclusive), which features a 50ml and a miniature plush toy.
In other news, Koto Parfums has created a new TOPModel fragrance collection, targeted at girls aged six to 12. Three scents (TOPModel My Dream, TOPModel Let’s Dance and TOPModel So Girly) will be available initially, inspired by the top three TOPModels Candy, Talita and Hayden.
TOPModel was created by Germany company Depesche. Distributed in 47 countries, it features 13 different characters, which feature online, on social media networks and within a print magazine.
Gourbeyre commented: “TOPModel was for me a unique product [with] high visibility. While we were working on the brand, we noticed that TOPModel was a real worldwide phenomenon. All little girls aged between 6-12 years old knew the brand and were already fans. The most important thing for us was to develop and to build a long-term exclusive worldwide partnership.”
TOPModel My Dreams reflects the world of “modern princess” Candy. The fragrance features notes of raspberry, cotton candy, toffee, cedar wood and musk. TOPModel Let’s Dance complements hip-hop girl Talita. It combines notes of peach granita, jasmine and musk. Lastly, TOPModel So Girly echoes the style of “ethno-chic” Hayden. It blends orange, mango pulp, nectarine and vanilla.
Each fragrance is available as a 50ml edt, and presented in colourful packaging, with a diamond-shaped cap. The scents come complete with a sheet of stickers which can be used to personalise the flacon.
Lastly, Koto Parfums has extended its Hello Kitty portfolio with a new travel retail exclusive set, Hello Kitty Forever. It features five x 5ml miniature edts. Complementing the scent quintet is a Hello Kitty figurine, whose mood can be changed by pressing its pink heart button.
