SWITZERLAND. Kraft Foods World Travel Retail will showcase several new products from its portfolio of chocolate brands at the TFWA World Exhibition 2007 (Stand number: Riviera Village RG5), including Milka, Côte d’Or and Toblerone – which turns 100 next year.
In the run-up to its 100th birthday, Toblerone has launched a limited-edition travel retail exclusive featuring new pack designs for its 400g bars and 6x100g bundles.
The 100 years pack designs feature a special anniversary logo and fireworks lighting up the sky above Toblerone’s signature Matterhorn Mountain. The logo will have a 3-D enamel effect.

Besides new-look packaging, Toblerone has also introduced a new flavour for the travel retail channel: Toblerone Fruit & Nut. Launched earlier in the UK market, the flavour achieved excellent sales and was deemed a natural fit with the Toblerone brand, according to the company.
Toblerone Fruit & Nut is presented in purple and gold packaging with ingredients imagery, clearly differentiating it from the existing range.
The 100 years limited-edition range is completed by Toblerone Tiny, a jumbo-size 600g sharing pack containing 100 Tiny Toblerones. The transparent packaging holds an assortment of 6g Toblerone Tinies in milk, white and dark variants.

Alpine chocolate brand Milka has launched its debut offering for the sharing gift segment: the 280g Milka Miniatures pack. Ten individually wrapped miniature tablets are contained in a stand-up bag featuring Milka’s signature lilac cow.
Following its Cannes relaunch last Autumn as an upmarket gift, Belgian chocolate brand Côte d’Or has introduced another high-end product for the informal gifting segment. Côte d’Or Finest is a 360g premium box containing individually wrapped miniature tablets in three variants: dark, dark with orange flavour and dark with raspberry flavour.
A new addition to the Daim range is the Daim 250g milk chocolate tablet, a king-size bar containing caramel pieces and with a shiny red pack design.
Daim has also combined with another Scandinavian brand, Freia, to introduce a new travel retail exclusive for the Nordic market: Freia Daim. The 250g tablet is a blend of Freia milk chocolate and Daim caramel pieces.
Marabou Apelsinkrokant, a best-seller in Sweden’s domestic market, has unveiled the 250g Apeslinkrokant, an orange-flavoured milk chocolate bar filled with crisp cereals and almond caramel.
Released by Mirabell to commemorate the 250th anniversary of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Mirabell Mozartkugeln is available in a 290g transparent gift box containing 17 individual Mozartkugeln pieces. Each piece combines pistachio and marzipan paste at its heart and is covered with dark nougat cream and enrobed with dark chocolate.
