Kraft to launch new 200g tablet for Côte d’Or in Singapore

SWITZERLAND. Kraft Foods World Travel Retail (KFWTR) will be showcasing the brand worlds of Toblerone, Côte d’Or and Milka at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore (Stand number: P20).

Toblerone takes centre stage in 2010 with the launch of a new product, Toblerone Tobelle. Offering thin and refined triangular pieces of Toblerone, Tobelle delivers a different eating experience while retaining the taste of Swiss milk chocolate with honey and almond nougat. KFWTR believes that the combination of an “˜easier to eat’ format plus a beautifully designed box will serve to broaden the appeal of Toblerone.

Since its launch in 2008, “˜Fruit & Nut’ has become a favourite with the brand’s target markets worldwide, KFWTR said. This year Toblerone brings the flavour to the snacking sharing segment with the introduction of the Toblerone Mix Pack. This sharing bag features snack size formats of Fruit & Nut and Milk Toblerone.

The Milka chocolate brand portfolio welcomes a new product that strongly targets a key segment in travel retail – informal gifting. Milka Mousse au Chocolat delivers Alpine milk chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling. The two Milka Mousse au Chocolat tablets are presented in a striking travel retail exclusive gift pack featuring imagery of the Swiss Alps and the Milka cow.

Côte d’Or 200g tablets have proved a big hit with Asian consumers, said KFWTR, and in 2010 the company will build on this success with the launch of Côte d’Or Premium Bitter & Whole Almonds tablet. The new flavour features high quality dark chocolate with crunchy whole almonds.

New to the Mirabell portfolio is the brand’s first sharing gift: The Mozart Bag. Offering 16 Mozartkugeln in an exclusive travel retail format, the Mozart Bag is designed for the increasingly popular segment of informal sharing gifts.
