Kusmi Tea channels its Russian roots with limited-edition Christmas tea

Tsarevna tea will retail at £23.30

Kusmi Tea has created a limited-edition traditional Christmas tea and will present it at next month’s TFWA World Exhibition (Blue Village A3).

Tsarevna tea is a Russian blend and follows the tradition of the teahouse’s exclusive recipes. Its base blends spiced black tea and features layered aromas of orange, vanilla and almond, providing a rich flavour that is sweetened by liquorice. Tsarevna’s blend with Slavic notes aims to provide a warming infusion for the chilly season.

The tea is presented in a red and gold glitter tin, said to be inspired by the magic of Christmas and the colours of Imperial Russia. The tin is also decorated with a touch of white, said to represent the purity of snow and the beauty of Russian princesses.

As reported, Kusmi tea opened its first standalone store at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in June this year, in partnership with LS travel retail.
