La Mer’s new Regenerating Serum |
INTERNATIONAL. Crème de la Mer has updated its prestige anti-ageing portfolio with a new Regenerating Serum. It began rolling out in selected travel retail doors this month.
The treatment is described as the result of four years and hundreds of hours of lab work. It has 50 patents worldwide and was created by a coalition of physicists, marine botanists and biologists from all around the globe, according to the brand.
The Regenerating Serum contains a high concentration of Crème de la Mer’s signature Miracle Brothâ„¢, and also includes the new Regenerating Fermentâ„¢, derived from marine plant stem cells.
Selected for its vigour and ability to withstand and resist stress, the stem cells of the marine plant Eryngium Maritimum are harvested and grown in a lab through sustainable processes. The cultivated cells and the liquid that contains them are then fermented, using sono-chemistry.
The Regenerating Fermentâ„¢ is said to help skin support its own natural production of collagen, elastin and other “youth proteins,” harnessing the power of the skin’s ability to renew its appearance.
In one day, skin looks rejuvenated, the brand maintains. With continued use, the appearance of lines, wrinkles and pores is significantly diminished for a seemingly ageless look.
Crème de la Mer Regenerating Serum is available as a 30ml, priced domestically at around £210.
