La Prairie’s high-end Cellular Power trio |
La Prairie has extended its Cellular Power anti-ageing franchise with a new treatment, Cellular Power Serum. It is said to combine a revolutionary new Defence Fortifying Complex with the brand’s Cellular Power Complex to deliver “unprecedented performance, empowering the skin to reclaim its optimal equilibrium, youth and beauty.”
The product will be available from March 2013. It joins La Prairie’s Cellular Power Infusion and Cellular Power Charge Night.
Cellular Power Serum helps skin to strengthen its natural defences against free radical threats, while acting as a battery supplying energy to cells to repair existing damage, the brand maintains.
As skin ages, its sensors, which act as an alarm system, no longer work to capacity. Cellular Power Serums taps into the skin’s natural anti-oxidant “self-defence” network, La Prairie claims, thereby helping it to function optimally.
Key ingredients include a Defense-Fortifying Complex of Giant Knotweed, Blue Microalgae and Heart Leaf Globe Daisy. These are complemented by components of the brand’s Cellular power Infusion, notably La Prairie’s Cellular Power Complex; Swiss Snow Algae (to increase cells’ longevity and counteract UV stress); and Tissue Guidance Matrix to promote the renewal of skin tissue.
The serum should be used morning and evening, after cleansing and toning. It is presented in a shiny silver plastic pump bottle, with banded cap. The recommended domestic price is €380 for 50ml.
