Precious metal: La Prairie’s new Precious Platinum Rare Collection, on-counter from September |
SWITZERLAND. La Prairie is paving the way for the official launch of its Cellular Eye Cream Platinum Rare – scheduled for January 2011 – with a limited-edition set called the Precious Platinum Rare Collection. It will be available from mid-September, priced domestically at around €710.
The silver vanity case holds a full-size jar of La Prairie’s new eye-zone treatment; a 30ml jar of the brand”˜s Cellular Cream Platinum Rare; and a silver necklace with finely-crafted half-moon and sun symbols.
Cellular Eye Cream Platinum Rare is claimed to encapsulate the dual advantages of a concentrated, high-performing serum and a moisturising cream. The formula is described as rich, yet light to the touch, and is said to have an immediate lifting action on the skin.
This is accomplished by La Prairie’s melting technology, which utilises a sugar polymer to create an imperceptible tensing mesh on the surface of the skin, which delivers instant yet long-lasting firming and line smoothing benefits, according to the brand.
The treatment is said to decrease dark shadows and puffiness, giving the skin surrounding the eyes a smoother, brighter, more radiant appearance.
