Lacoste cultivates premium image with new concept store at Changi Airport

French premium casualwear brand Lacoste has unveiled its second travel retail store in Singapore at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 departure area.

Opened on 8 August, the 1022sq ft store introduces to Asia the new “˜Premium Standard’ retail concept, developed in line with Lacoste’s strategic goal to be the leading brand in the premium casualwear segment.

Taking inspiration from modern architecture, the store features pine wood flooring and backwalls, punctuated by dark oak elements on the loose standing fixtures. This premium image is further reflected by the slated dark oak wood panel at the store entrance, the brand said.

Lacoste’s iconic polo shirts are displayed by model in the “˜Polo Lounge’, which consists of a Polo Wall and Polo Bar showcasing the brand’s wide array of colours and fits and creates “a strong visual point”, the brand added.

Other highlights include a “˜Heritage Wall’ that captures the world of Lacoste, with images documenting the brand’s history and the spirit of founder and tennis champion René Lacoste.

The new store stocks a range of men’s lifestyle casual apparel and sportswear, with the latest Regate & City Golf Collection offering a fresh twist on classic inspired pieces for winter. It also showcases the new collection of women’s sportswear alongside a selection of the brand’s best-selling bags and footwear. A limited assortment for kids as well as other accessories will also be available.
