UAE. Lagardère HWH Travel Retail last month opened a Budweiser Bar at Dubai International (DXB), Terminal 3. It coincided with the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which runs to 18 December.
The 280sq m dining destination shows all games on six large screens, serves a full bar menu and a wide selection of draught beers.
Lagardère Travel Retail UAE CEO Vadim Motlik said: “We are honoured that Dubai Airports entrusted Lagardere HWH Travel Retail with this unique opportunity in Concourse B. We had the chance to develop a concept we believe is in line with the airport’s modern consumer profile, in the post-Covid era.
“Creating and seeing the Budweiser Bar come to life in a short amount of time has been nothing short of spectacular. It was a journey filled with collaboration, adrenaline and driven by the aspiration to deliver a great project that brought the team together and fostered a collaborative spirit.”
Dubai Airports Vice President of Commercial Eugene Barry said: “We are very pleased with the opening of the Budweiser Bar at Dubai International. The new concept is an exciting, bright addition to our existing food, retail and entertainment partnerships across DXB, and the Budweiser Bar offers lovers of football a perfect venue to enjoy the action while in transit at DXB.”
