CHILE. Lagardère Travel Retail Chile has appointed Oriol Sancho Casadesús as its new Chief Executive Officer. He brings nearly 30 years’ experience in the dining, hospitality and retail industries across national and international markets.
The travel retailer said Sancho will focus on consolidating existing operations, managing a strong pipeline of upcoming openings and exploring new opportunities in other markets.
Sancho’s most recent role was as CEO of Espacio Riesco, the Chilean conventions and exhibitions company.
Earlier in his career, he spent seven years performing General Manager roles for global travel restaurateur Areas in Spain and Argentina.
Lagardère Travel Retail said: “Oriol’s extensive experience positions him well to drive our ambition of becoming the most relevant player in the Chilean travel retail market, building on the foundation we’ve established since our debut in the country two and a half years ago.” ✈
