Lagardère Travel Retail elevates F&B offerings at Hong Kong Airport with Godiva Café

HONG KONG, CHINA. Lagardère Travel Retail has today officially inaugurated the first Godiva Café in travel retail across Asia at Hong Kong International Airport.

As reported by Martin Moodie on a recent visit to the airport, the café offers a mix of dining and retail choices, the former including the Croiffle – a Godiva-patented fusion of a croissant and a waffle.

It’s been six years since the premium Belgian chocolate brand opened its first café in Brussels

The Croiffle is available in four flavours: Three Cheese; Turkey & Cheese; Godiva Dark Chocolate; and Godiva Milk Chocolate.

Lagardère Travel Retail Vice President of Operations, Hong Kong Angela Chan said: “Lagardère Travel Retail is proud to partner with Godiva, the global leader in premium chocolate, to launch the first ever Godiva Café in the travel retail business in Asia.

“Lagardère Travel Retail aspires to weave bespoke experiences into every traveller’s journey. We are excited to co-create new baked treats with Godiva exclusively for the café at Hong Kong International Airport.

“These tasty new treats, together with the signature soft serve and chocolate shakes, are set to add a sweet touch to travellers’ journeys.” ‍
