Lambay Irish Whiskey Company has launched the new blended Lambay Malt, the fourth addition to its portfolio. The new whiskey is produced on Lambay Island, located three miles off the coast of Dublin.
The new product is a collaboration between Camus, the world’s leading family-owned Cognac producer, and the Baring family’s Revelstoke Trust.
Available in 70cl bottles at an RRP of €50 (US$59.25), the 43% ABV non-chill filtered whiskey consists of a minimum of three variants of high-quality Irish single malt distillates – a blend of both double and triple distilled malt spirit.
All single malts within the blend are independently sourced and first bourbon barrel matured. The product is then partially-finished in hand-selected French oak Cognac casks, which produce the signature finish for all Lambay whiskeys. Before bottling, Lambay Island’s own Trinity Well water is added.
It will be available initially exclusively on Irishmalts.com and will be stocked by most leading whiskey retailers by October.
