CHILE. LanChile, Chile’s largest airline, has reported a +32.3% increase in international passenger traffic (passenger/km) for November over the same month last year. The increase reflects rising demand and the launch of new Latin American routes.
The continuing success of Chile’s flagship airline – which in October reported tripled third-quarter profits from a year ago – is a result of the deregulated air traffic market, combined with efficiency and concentration on international flights, analysts said.
