It began rolling out in European travel retail this month and will be launched in US and Asian airports from June. The recommended domestic price point is €22.30 for a 10ml tube.
World-renowned Japanese visual artist Yayoi Kusama has been recognised since the 1960s for her contribution to the avant-garde world of environmental art. Through her medium she reveals what is described as a poetic, ultra-graphic style, punctuated by botanically-inspired motifs and her trademark polka dots.
For this project, Kusama designed six vibrant, colourful motifs inspired by nature, to complement the six Juicy Tubes shades in the new collectors’ edition.
Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origin features honey and shea butter to leave lips glossy, soft and hydrated for over four hours, according to the brand.
Moreover, the new shades have been achieved using natural-origin colouring agents to produce hues of honey, rose and apricot. Each shade has its own unique fragrance: hazelnut, apricot, honey, raspberry, vanilla or grapefruit.
The shade names are Pop Art Hazelnut, Happy Honey, Rose Blossom, Dot Apricot, Crazy Raspberry and Swing Pink.
The Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origin line is presented in eco-friendly cardboard packaging, certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
