Fatale: the new plumping, sculpting mascara from Lancôme |
FRANCE. Lancôme is preparing to extend its mascara portfolio with a new plumping and sculpting line called Fatale. It will be available from July on European and US markets, before rolling out to Asia in August.
Fatale is said to deliver a glamorous look with instant, over-the-top volume. It is being promoted by Lancôme face, model Daria Werbowy.
The mascara’s volumising effect comes courtesy of a patent-protected Ampliforme 3D wand, comprised of three mini-combs said to coat and shape lashes intensely from the very first brush.
This is complemented by a Filtex coating formula, which creates a fine, long-wearing mesh around lashes to sculpt, shape and maintain a defined curl, according to Lancôme.
The Fatale formula also contains a Plump Wax Complex. This is claimed to produce a pleasant wet sensation on application, with a smooth, creamy texture.
Fatale will be available in five shades: Noir Fatal, Brun Sensual, Saphir Glamour, Emeraude Provocante and Améthyste Envoûtante. The recommended domestic price is €24.
