AUSTRALIA. Avolta, Heinemann Oceania and LagardèreAWPL have once again signalled their support for the Australian Airports Association (AAA) Retail & Commercial Forum, which will be held this year in Sydney from 21-23 July.
The Forum is a collaboration between the AAA, The Mercurius Group and The Moodie Davitt Report. It focuses on promoting the growth and development of retail and commercial revenues for airports and concessionaires across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.
The industry support panel sponsorship model for the Retail & Commercial Forum was introduced when the event began in 2022 and has been adopted each year since. The idea behind the support panels is that multiple players in a sector can be part of the event in a cost-effective manner.

Heinemann Australia Managing Director George Tsoukalas said, “We are pleased to welcome Forum guests to Sydney and to showcase the many exciting initiatives we are delivering in conjunction with Sydney Airport and our brand partners across International and Domestic Terminals.”
Avolta Country GM, Australia & New Zealand Matt Neal said, “We’re proud of our long-standing partnership with the Forum and convinced of its value and place in the Australian travel landscape. We look forward to seeing our partners – current and potential – as we explore fresh perspectives, best practice and emerging trends together in travel retail across this dynamic and growing region.”
LagardèreAWPL Chief Executive Costa Kouros said, “LagardèreAWPL was among the original supporters of the AAA Retail & Commercial Forum in 2022 and we are pleased to continue our partnership for a fourth year. This event has grown in relevance and importance for the airport retail and commercial community.”
Registration to attend the Forum is open via the AAA website: Airport Retail & Commercial Forum – Australian Airports Association
