Leading wineries honoured in 2017 Best of Wine Tourism awards

The role that leading wineries play in driving tourism was recognised in the 2017 Best of Wine Tourism awards held on 10 November at the Sao Bento da Vitoria Monastery in Porto, Portugal.

The event was sponsored by Great Wine Capitals, a global network of ten internationally renowned wine regions in Australia, Spain, France, South Africa, Germany, Argentina, Portugal, USA, Chile and Italy.

This year’s awards attracted 359 entrants, with 59 local winners. Since its inception, the competition has involved 3,845 companies and 574 properties have received awards.
