Lebanese businessman wins US$1 million in Dubai Duty Free promotion

UAE. A Lebanese businessman has won a million dollars in Dubai Duty Free’s Millennium Millionaire promotion.

Antoine Labaky, a 45-year old construction business owner from Beirut, is the 11th Lebanese national to win US$1 million since its inception in 1999.

The draw was staged at Concourse A in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. It was conducted by Dubai Duty Free’s Colm McLoughlin (Executive Vice Chairman and CEO), Ramesh Cidambi (Chief Operating Officer), Sinead El Sibai (Senior Vice President – Marketing), Michael Schmidt (Senior Vice President – Retail Support) and Teresite Dizon (Duty Manager).

Following the millionaire draw, two more winners were announced in DDF’s Finest Surprise promotion, each winning a luxury vehicle.

Judith Kriesten, a 51-year old German from Essen, won a mythos black metallic Audi R8. Subbaiah Appanderanda, an Indian national based in Dubai, secured a black BMW R 1200 GS motorbike.
