Leonidas will showcase two limited-edition gift boxes from its Spring-Summer collection at the forthcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand D31, Basement 2).
The soft pastel pink and green gift boxes are tied with a champagne-coloured ribbon, and feature an assortment of chocolates. One edition includes 22 premium ‘Centenaires’ in milk and dark chocolate, while the other offers 26 pieces from the traditional Leonidas range in milk, dark and white chocolate.
The Centenaire version features four pralines echoing the shape of the round limited edition box. Leonidas said the praline ‘Lima’ responded to the “consumer trend for single origin cocoa”. It has a filling of ganache made from dark chocolate of Peruvian origin and is hand decorated with pieces of roasted cocoa beans.
‘Sumatra’ is a dark chocolate filled with Robusta coffee ganache decorated with cranberry pieces; ‘Egina’ is a soft milk chocolate praline filled with pistachio and topped off with chopped pieces of pistachio; while ‘Amanda’ combines milk chocolate with almonds.
The global launch of the Leonidas Dora Spring-Summer Collection will be supported by in-store activations across key locations, the brand said. The activations will echo the spring colours of the boxes and will be supported by high profile promotions as well as sampling activities with promoters.
TFWA Asia Pacific will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from 7 – 11 May.
